As always we'll have cosplay, raffle prizes, BBQ, tons of cosplay photographers, a beautiful park to play in, and more! Costumes are not mandatory but are always encouraged!

This year we welcome two new members to the SoCal Cosplay team! ChoCho and Lillyxandra! Their talents and creativity are sure to help make this year's Spring Gathering the best to date!

Hello Princesses and Princes!
I have been getting some e-mails and messages regarding some confusion about the gathering, so I hope this post can answer some of your questions!

Are only girls invited?
Everyone is welcome! Boys, Girls, every age!

Do I have to have be invited on your MySpace to attend?
Nope! It is open you everyone!

Is it your birthday party?
Nope! My birthday is in April ^_~ It is a costume gathering that is princess themed.

Do I have to bring food?
You do not have to, but it is encouraged, as I cannot be suppling food. I suggest that you bring enough for yourself and perhaps some to share with your friends! Think of it a potluck lunch.

Why is it on a Friday? I work on a Friday!
I'm very sorry but I deliberately made it on a work day to keep the number of people down. This is the first event I have ever hosted so I need to see if I can handle a smaller amount of people. If it goes well then the next picnic will be on a weekend! Secondly the park is incredibly busy on the weekends, Id rather have a quiet atmosphere <3

Is this event the masquerade ball you posted about earlier?
No. This is a separate event. My friends and I are planned to hold the ball in October of next year, I will post more info on that at a later time.

New Watchmen trailer...oh god...so...so...good...can't wait.

And I'm not afraid to admit I've just recently read the entire graphic novel. Instant favorite. As in instantly within the first 3 pages. I feel like I'm practically stalking it I love it so deeply. I wish I could fit 100 showings in one midnight show. I want to cosplay Silk Spectre so badly. Not enough tittage, but has that stopped me before?!

While shopping with my parents today at my local Target, I came upon a wonderous sight that made me giddy. Domokun. He's their mascot for Halloween this year and I about squeeked my head off when I saw him. I think I scared my Dad.

Life is good. In spite of money problems, arguments with the people I love, or otherwise, life is truly amazing. Minutes ago -out of the blue- I suddenly became emotionally overwhelmed with a feeling of gratitude to my friends and family for all they've done. In my lame attempt to thank you all via LJ, I have never been more sincere when I say thank you for making my life worth living.

Ok, Comic Con/Video Games Live here I come! Even though I could not afford attending Comic Con at all...I'm helping back-stage for VGL for tonight's show and it'll be pure TORTURE seeing everyone in costume and enjoying the convention. Oh well. I'm driving all by my lonesome...without my hot man of a boyfriend, Paul, by my side. Considering my sense of direction DOES NOT EXIST, it'll be a wonder if I arrive in the right place at all! Haha!

Oh well, wish me luck!
